The year is 1840. A young veterinarian named John Hoxsey paces on his farm in the countryside, taking in the recent news. His prized stallion is dying of Cancer, given not even a year to live. It seemed impossible that such a strong horse, who won every race in all of Illinois, was now dying of Cancer. One day, John’s horse began grazing on wild plants and herbs in a pasture out on the Hoxsey farm.
Months would pass and the horse kept eating in this same pasture. Despite signs that the horse was actually doing better, John had to face reality: his horse had terminal Cancer and it was only a matter of time before he passed away.
Yet, John couldn’t shake the feeling that the herbs his horse kept eating had some sort of healing power to them. The horse’s trot would turn into a gallop which would turn into a run. It was nearly a year now.
The horse should have already been long gone... At the one year mark, John was completely convinced the herbs & plants had something to do with the fact that his horse was still alive. He ran a few tests on the horse and couldn’t believe what he discovered... the horse’s Cancer was gone. He combined the same plants & herbs to create an herbal mixture. He tested it on other animals with the Cancer and sure enough, it cured them. John had just created what would later be known as “the Ultimate Cancer Cure.” Over half a century later, John’s grandson John H. Hoxsey was lying on his deathbed. There John H. firmly clutched in his weak hands was the same Ultimate Cancer Cure. It had been a closely guarded family secret remedy since the time of John and his horse. Now was the time it would be passed down to 18-year-old Harry Hoxsey, the great-grandson of John Hoxsey.
